If someone like Duvall is the main option at this point, I'd honestly just rather send Adell/Moniak out there for the full year and finally answer whether either/both of them can hack it.

I'm beginning to suspect the Angels are beginning their rebuild, and won't be spending. If that's true, I suspect they'll trade Ward and Rengifo once their value fully peaks and someone comes along with the right offer. Maybe Moniak, maybe Sandoval.

Anything less than 4/60m would be unacceptable

MLB.com picked one prospect from each team that they're looking forward to seeing in 2024.  The Angels prospect...is a guy they haven't even drafted yet.

Angels: Seaver King, OF/SS (No. 9 on Draft Top 100)
In our first full mock for the 2024 Draft, King was the choice for the Angels at No. 8. Given that the Angels have had the first draftee to reach the big leagues in the last two years (Zach Neto, their 2022 first-rounder and Nolan Schanuel, their top pick in 2023), it only stands to reason that they take another college bat and watch him race to Los Angeles.

Yep, team needs more 2 fWAR guys.  Honestly a few 1 fWAR guys would be nice.

I can’t put Babe Ruth on my list of best ten players of all time.  The guy has done nothing for decades.  Right now I got Marcus Semien ahead of Ruth.

I really hope Chris Iannetta ranked higher than 8th on her "Married MLBers I'd have an affair with" list.

If nothing else, you hope for a couple of months where he's "On" because if he is, he's dominant.

After 20 years I cant believe that some of us cant see, beleive, or understand that Arte has no desire will or want for a rebuild, He wants his stars and toys and he wants to make money, Telling fans hay we suck and are going to suck for a few years dont sell tickets. He would rather finish middle of the pack then finish last. Until he sells the team to a new person with diffrent ideas and goals just know we are signing what ever shinny new thing he can convince to come. I am just thankful that Perry probably talked him off the Ohtani cliff to understand if we sign this guy you will be under his contract for 20 years 10 of witch he wont be selling tickets anymore.

The developmental curve doesn't really apply to relievers much. They're so dynamic and unpredictable and given their short shelf life, there's really no age curve that applies. You can have a kid that comes in at 21 firing 100 mph that has a couple really solid years before trailing off, and equally, you can have a 35 year old soft tosser come in and get outs at a good rate for a year or two as well.
The number of relievers that find sustained success in the majors for more than three consecutive years is few and far between. I think a perfect case study would be a guy like Cam Bedrosian. First round pick, MLB bloodlines, and at age 24 he has a 1.12 ERA in the majors across 45 appearances. He's one of the best relievers in baseball. By 29, he's washed up, but had some up and down years.
Point is, for someone like Guerrero, the expectation really isn't any different at 33 than it is at 23. You hope for a couple years of productivity before they lose it.

Guerrero throws triple digits and has good shape on his off-speed pitches. If he learns how to spot the ball, he'd be elite. At his current developmental stage, he's basically Ben Joyce, minus 2 ticks.
