I did not see Rojas and Mayfield pmaking the team but no one saw that they’d cut Upton in spring. Maybe after two-three months and if Marsh was Raking in AAA.
marsh takes Upton’s spot and maybe they still roll with 4 OF, but with 15 pitchers you’ve gotta think Rojas got the 28th man job.

I actually think the unbalanced schedule is the reason. When you face the pitching staff of the Orioles and bottom of the AL Central 19 times, your lineup looks better.

Had just graduated college. Seems like yesterday I was watching the game 6 comeback at the bar next to where I was "working" with my bosses permission. Nicest thing a Dodger fan has ever done for me, in regards to sports. LOL.

I've never seen someone so disparaged after one injured season. I know it looks like he missed a lot of games twice in a row, but in 2020, he played almost 90% of games and was on pace for a 6 WAR season. 
Hopefully he comes back and puts up 5-7 WAR!

Yeah, I think it will be 15-16 pitchers, 12-13 position players.
I think your guesses are as good as any, with the caveat that there's some wiggle on whether they go for 9 or 10 relievers, who among your last four they'll go with. Stefanic makes the least sense, both because Duffy is similar and also the 40-man issue. He'll start in AAA and wait for an injury or suckage.
I also think Marsh is less likely than Mayfield and Rojas, at least to start the year. They're probably looking at his BB/K rate and thinking he could use a bit more seasoning. It is worth remembering that he only has 24 AAA games under his belt. Maybe another focused 30-50 would do him good, and then he can come up once Upton is hurt and/or its clear he sucks.
My guess would be one of two options:
1. Your pitching staff, but they send Ortega to AAA and keep both Mayfield and Rojas.
2. Your pitching staff, but they keep either Mayfield or Rojas.

Personally would much rather they DFA Mayfield than Velazquez

I've updated the list again, but changed things up - now the lighter red is "remaining candidates," so expanded a bit, and Group A are more of the "extended bench" types while B is guys who could be called up at some point, but less likely in the first half.

Trout, Rendon, Ohtani, Walsh are the easy ones. Upton if healthy is five. Adell is six. Stassi, Ward are longer shots but have the power. Marsh maybe? An Infielder? Rojas? 8 would be a decent projection, but 10? 
2. Angels lead the league in Saves, and lowest BP ERA.
3. Trout, Ohtani, Rendon, exceed 25 WAR.
4. Angels win 97 games and the division.
5. Astros caught cheating again. 

Prediction: all of those players will be little more than footnotes in the Shohei Ohtani story of the 2020's.

It's dozens upon dozens. They've resorted to name calling and now are insulting me based on my preferred pronouns? I pointed out that the Astros probably are still cheating and I got dozens of responses, including the USA Today Astros Beat writer, Ben DuBose? 
I'm sorry that their favorite team cheated, was not substantially punished, so is likely trying to continue to cheat. The Astros front office, going back to the hacking of the Cardinals system, and tanking for talent, has been populated by people who think they're smarter so they can do whatever they want. Morally bankrupt.
