  1. Doesn't the NBA count ABA stats? OK, it's not really the same thing but it is one league counting another leagues stats. What I find interesting is DR J. is 6th all time in scoring with ABA stats included but plummets to 63 if ABA stats are not counted.
  2. Had he been able to play his entire pro career in the MLB, he would be right up there. Top 3, I would guess. Of course Pete Rose doesn't think his Japan status should count. http://www.baseballdailydigest.com/pete-rose-ichiro-suzukis-japan-hits-should-not-count/
  3. The Cardinals have been playing Wong in center field the last couple of games. He has been nothing but a 2nd baseman during his time in the majors. Maybe they're having 2nd thoughts on weather Grichuk is the guy or maybe they're considering a platoon situation.
  4. Michael Wacha with the Angels pick Stephen Piscotty with the supplemental pick Both are on the major league club. A starting pitcher and their everyday right fielder.
  5. You have that reversed. He was drafted by the Cardinals and traded to Toronto. His father even posted on message boards complaining about how LaRussa and the Cardinals were messing up his baby boy.
  6. Unfortunately, Texas winning the division is required for the Angels to stay alive. A Houston loss will result in Texas clinching the division title.
  7. The 86 Mets won 108 games. I don't think they deserve mentioning in this thread. Now if the thread was titled "Most hated world series winner" or "World series winner with the most d-bags and a-holes" then yea, the 86 Mets would be right there at the top of the list.
  8. http://m.mlb.com/video/v343419583/stlmil-grichuk-breaks-game-open-with-threerun-shot/
  9. It was Jack Clark that got fired from the radio show and hit the home run in the 1985 NLCS. Not Will Clark.
