Just leave Adell in RF

I've just reverted back to using screenshots of the MLB.com lineups since they show stats. I kinda like seeing the stats.

My faith in this team is pretty shaky but I do have the firm hope they will snag that third wild card before I'm 90. 

It's baseball. Anything can happen this early in the season.

I get that win/loss record is not a great indicator of pitching success but 18-40 is enough to say that he hasn't been good. 

In addition to not being able to get through adversity, I also wonder if the pitch clock is affecting him like it seems to have affected Suarez.

Con - Offense. That's the biggest problem right now.

Angels would be a better team if Adell and Rengifo play every day.  

I get it, and it's very very early. But it speaks to a complete lack of direction with those two in particular. They didn't sign a single starter because they wanted to see if their own guys could bounce back under new coaching, and they're all still pretty young. They didn't sign a quality INF or JDM/Soler/Turner because, in theory, they wanted to free up at bats for quote "some guys that are out of options" (Perry). So to bring in Hicks when OF was your positional strength and you have two young talented guys that are out of options, just doesn't make sense. 

Pro:
 Soriano is looking like a guy with front of the line potential Arm! the split he threw this inning, was a plus pitch. Main thing is command and to continue learning.
Con:
The offense is and has been struggling. 

I think Rengifo will improve with Washington's help. Give it time.

One error that extended an inning is the big story here?
How about getting shutout by the Reds in a full bullpen game while 4 batters continue to hit under .200?

I feel like there's too much talk/pressure about him developing power. Just let the dude hit his singles and take a ton of walks for now. He can bulk and find his power eventually, who cares.

Yes. I can accept Neto hitting .220 with 10-12 HRs because he saves runs on defense. Schanuel is probably the best fielding 1Bman we have, but the difference is minor. He needs to (at a minimum) hit .260 with a .340 OBP to earn playing time.

Which means that expectations are very different. Half of Neto's value is his defense, while maybe about 10% of Schanuel's value--as a first baseman--is defense. Not to mention base-running.

Rengifo and Adell need to play everyday. 

So I guess Hicks has earned playing time over Adell?
The rest of the lineup is fine, but Adell constantly riding the pine is starting to worry me. With the short porch in left, I could see him getting one over the monster.
