This. It happened to us, but it could have easily happened to about any company, organization, team, church group, anything. I have worked with guys who bragged about being "a pharmacy" and could get you anything you wanted. I also worked for a pro football team where pretty much every white guy on the team was buying steroids from the same guy. This doesn't mean the Angels suck as an organization. It means they were the unfortunate ones. The same stuff that killed Tyler killed Prince, 'Tom Petty, and others.

I got to see him (Way) play in the super regional at Louisville this year. He looked pretty good but then that was college.

My fear is we have three kings while they have an ace. Reminds me of when we had to beat Randy Johnson with Mark Langston. He kept up with him for six or seven innings and then one mistake by Hudler and it all came unraveled. In a five or seven game series I like our odds against anyone. In a one game situation I'd rather not have to face one of the top 5-10 starters in the game.

Right now it's looking like us and them in the wildcard game. King Felix. Oh joy.

What may surprise you are the all-time series against several of the teams. We're way behind NYY, Oak, Bal, Bos. We're slightly behind: Det, StL, SD, SF We're way ahead of Sea, LAD, Cle, Min, Col, Ari., TB, Mil We're slightly ahead of: KC, Tor, ChW, Tex, Hou, Cin, We're tied with: Atl, ChC, The top four are up on us by 50 or more games apiece. We don't own anybody like that, so we lead a lot more series than we trail to bring us close to even.

Our pen is bad, but most pens are bad. It's post steroids baseball.
