  1. Indy was without T.Y. Hilton which took away their biggest threat on offense outside of Luck and they never got anything going. Props to Dallas but that game went downhill quick after the wide open receiver dropped the ball on the fake punt giving Dallas the ball in FG range already up 7-0. NE barely beat the Jets but it was a division game and NE was without Edelman and Blount. 1 week left in the regular season and Seattle looks like the best all around team.
  2. In both of my leagues the majority of teams scored well below their projected totals. Some of the fantasy studs like Luck and Bell who carried their teams to the playoffs had average or flat out bad games. I killed it in my work league which makes the mismanagement in my other league a bit easier to swallow.
  3. My girlfriend saw a screener of this some months back. She wasn't really a fan of the movie but to be fair the Rogen/Franco combo isn't really her type of humor. I think the threats and hacking are pretty sad but I can understand how Sony wouldn't want to be liable. If even just one incident happened it would be even more of a PR nightmare for Sony.

  5. Every Sunday morning I think most managers review their rosters while shows like FF now on ESPN talk injury updates along with rankings. The difference between Ingram and Lacy wasn't going to give me the W and I had Morris as my other RB who really gave me nothing. Had I sat him instead of Lacy I would have won but no one was saying there was a reason to sit him because he historically puts up good numbers on the Giants, was healthy and Helu is on IR. There's always some line up tweaking which works out some weeks and others it doesn't.
  6. My thoughts are that if they move to LA it won't impact how many games I go to a year but to be fair I go to about one game every two years. The biggest reason I go to Chargers games is to see the team they're playing and the second biggest reason is to turn it into a day/night trip and stay in SD. Nothing about LA makes me want to stay there or turn a sporting event into a weekend trip.
  7. Sunday morning I swapped out Brady and Lacy for Big Ben and Ingram. I thought Ben was a better play because ATL is terrible while all the talking heads and even Packers coaches said they were planning a time share for Lacy because of his him injury. Had I left even just Brady in I would be in the finals. Management fail. At least I'm headed to the finals in my other league.
  8. I'm glad the Yankees overpaid for his services and not the Angels.
  9. We're not being sold down the river because we're already hundreds of miles down the river. Our elected officials on both sides continue to do whatever they please as long as it lines their pockets. Separate from the budget is a push for both Fannie and Freddie to increase lending to low income would be home owners by requiring just 3% down. The goal being to help first time home buyers who are strapped for cash to be able to purchase a house. Pretty sure nothing could go wrong with that.
  10. He's owed an average of 13M a year through 2017, he's turning 34 next year and he's declined offensively the last 3 years while he's been below league average according to OPS+. Not just a no but a **** no.

Thu Dec 11 Arizona Sun Dec 14 Cincinnati Green Bay Indianapolis Baltimore New England Kansas City Pittsburgh Tampa Bay New York Giants San Diego - I hate myself for going this way but the Denver passing game has been lackluster the last few weeks and SD plays Denver tough. 12. An article I saw yesterday said Headley's biggest suitors (Yankees) were turned off by his recent demands. If the Yankees think someone is asking for too much that's a giant red flag. Headley wants a multi-year contract and quite frankly aside from his one monster year has been pretty average or below average. No thanks.
  13. I really dislike the fact that Howie will be playing for the Dodgers. That said I wish him the best (not his new team, just him) and think the Angels got a nice return.
  14. So I ended up replacing the hard drive on my PS3 because without a working hard drive I couldn't even trade it in at gamestop. I figured I'll wait on a PS4 because as I've said on here before I go through kicks where I want to play a game, I play it for so many weeks, put it down for months and have to start all over if I ever get back into it. So I bought Dragon Age Inquisition and have been playing that the last few days. I'm in the real early stages and am still getting used to the controls but I'm liking it a lot and don't think I've had this much fun since the first Dragon Age game.
  15. As much as I dislike NE and wanted them to lose I'm glad that it didn't end up costing them the game while the refs tried to bail out SD for a third week in a row. Unfortunately this is the league response with all the concussion issues and lawsuits. Any big hit seems to automatically draw a flag even when some of those hits are clean by the league definition.
  16. I hated rooting for SD but I wasn't expecting them to pull it off so it wasn't a huge letdown. Would have been a huge help to Denver if they had won.
  17. When I read the thread title I thought Glen was finally going through with that sex change operation. Congrats either way!
  18. I'm guessing Boras will continue to do just fine. Every year someone seems to bring up that he cost so and so money yet he continues to get big contracts for some of his other clients. As far as Kendrick goes I'd be a fan of the Angels extending him if it's for 3 maybe 4 years max as he's signed through next year when he'll turn 32. His decline won't happen right away but at a point you need to start going in a different direction.
  19. Which will include the third brother played by Eddie Murphy. No you didn't read that wrong.
  20. Come on guys as a famous person he's better than the rest of us and should be treated accordingly. In all seriousness I met him maybe 5 years while working a press junket for a friend. Obviously he was there to talk to reporters and didn't have much free time to talk to anyone else but on his way out he made it a point to say goodbye and thanks to all of us. That said he seems to have a tendency to say dumb things (imagine that from someone in the public eye) like when he talked about if he had been on flight 93 things would have gone down differently and now this. Both are instances were nothing should have been said publicly but like average Joe's some people in the public eye don't seem to have that filter.
  21. The Craig reboot has been for the most part really good. I say for the most part because Quantum of Solace was so so but Casino Royale and Skyfall were both really good. Looking forward to this.

  23. Andersen hasn't tried to do anything flashy like change course when he's met in the backfield, he follows his blockers and has been huge in the passing game for short dump offs. One of the announcers said if he continues to play like this it will be a tough decision when Hillman and Ball are back but it's a no brainer right now. Three 3 and outs for the Denver D so far which is great to see. Both the O and D have looked very good at times but not so much at the same time in the last so many weeks.
  24. Agreed. Philly has put up points and yards but come the playoffs I don't expect Sanchez to get it done when it matters.
  25. Dallas' record is somewhat deceiving. Of their 8 wins to date only 1 came against a team .500 or better and 6 of those wins came against below average defenses. Their defense is better than last year (had to be) but I don't see it helping them keep up with some of the top NFC teams.
