  3. Chuck and crew..... I'm sure this has taken a lot of work. Had a few issues that turned out to be my own browser, or lack of experience with some technical stuff I wasn't familiar with. Really slick, guys. Nice work. I'm impressed. Now the Angels just need to play some great baseball, to make all your effort even more worthwhile.
  4. After the Daytona 500, (no passing, commercial ruined, snooze-fest) and spring training baseball... The Oscars were the most exciting thing I watched yesterday. I hadn't seen one of the movies. I had no idea who Seth MacFarlane was before last night, and thought he was GREAT. Jennifer Lawrence has everything any man should ever look for.
  5. If my hunch is right, Kole Calhoun is going to make it REAL hard for Dipoto to send him back to SLC after ST. I think if Wells shows any amount of ability to swing the bat in ST, the bullet will be bitten, and Wells will go elsewhere. Money hasn't held Arte back much, if at all, and I don't think money is going to keep him from making the right move now. He has spent tons of cash to win, and the time is here.
  6. Forget 42 million....how about 4.2 million? They would be over-paying but they ARE the Yankees.
  7. Good. I would miss the smashed and cold hot dogs and the flat beer.
  8. Calhoun batting clean-up. Need to come with a catchy name for his home runs.
  9. Can you imagine the line??? The only way that would work is with in-seat delivery, and even then you would need to order a day or two in advance.
  10. Listening to an interview with Joe Maddon on MLB the other day. When asked why he has such success developing young players, he said one of the keys was NOT to send them back and forth to the minors. "Do that enough times and you can ruin their confidence....sometimes forever"
  11. I broke my collarbone (clavicle) in Pony League. It hurts. Funny thing is I was a light hitting catcher, who my overweight Italian manager depended on.(seriously). I didn't even know what the word intangible meant back then. As the memories flood back in, I think I might have been a little hard on Mathis.
  12. "Wells is impressing everyone around here with his new swing"
  13. "Well, It's lots harder around here without Hatchy to help inspire the guys in Spring Training"
  14. I hate The Eagles so much.... I gave their Reunion DVD to my sister, for Christmas! LOL
  15. Conger and Bourjos for Stanton. Get er done.
  16. Hitting in the #2 behind Trout worked wonders for Torii last season. HK will get his chance there. Let's hope Eppard has him mentally ready for it when it happens.
