  5. I'm going on a self imposed hiatus from the Gameday threads and boards until this team wins 3 in a row. Could be a while, be good boys
  6. We have cornered the market on losing a season in April. My prediction 2 weeks ago was that somehow we find a way to get ourselves 20 GB by the time it's all said and done, I see no reason to alter that. I have never seen a more lifeless team, particularly one with this kind of payroll. Worst constructed club in the game...without a close second
  7. It's coming...I am really looking forward to another of Chuck's threads dialing into people for not being optimistic and guaranteeing a series win
  8. Yeah, I appreciate the optimism and am trying damn hard to have some myself. But we hear this all the time, and heard well into June last year. A team with this kind of payroll and talent (at least offensively, because we have limited talent in the arms dept) should not be this mediocre. Yet we are year in and year out the model of mediocrity. We have shown no ability to dominate the A's and Rangers, and even lesser teams which we must in order to contend. At this point I am not confident about the makeup of this team to get and stay hot
  9. Haha, my sarcasm wasn't obvious enough I guess.
  10. No doubt and I'm trying awfully hard...we still have 141 games remaining. Lots can change quickly, but right now there is not a lot of reasons to be confident
  11. ....is, according to Chuck, we'll win 3 up in Seattle, so we all shouldn't be upset about last night or the slow start. 6.5 back in April is nothing to be concerned about fellas
  12. No. Madson is unknown at this point. Jepsen is Jepsen, never sure which version you're getting. And Richards should not be in the pen to begin with
  13. Aybar, Callaspo, Jepsen and Weaver were hardly productive early on either. Lots of teams battle through injuries but that's when depth is tested, we are proving we don't have much currently. With that said, not sure we have a much better record with them around right now anyway
