I never understood the AJ Pierzynski hate. He wasn't sure if he was called out and ran to first base. The guy had a hell of a career, I hope O'Hoppe turns out to be as good as him

I’m a Washington fan so football and baseball are pretty similar to me. To be honest, Washington has been run more poorly than the Angels. Hopefully getting rid of Snyder turns that franchise around. 

We could do worse.
 

Girlfriend left town for the weekend to visit her parents. (Or date another guy).
I have the place to myself for the weekend. Finally getting to knock stuff out.
And ending the night with a marathon of this show.
This was out literally decades before I was born, but grew up with it over summers when it was on TV at noon.
This show is so f*cking cool.

in california, this continues to be truth. i'll vote on propositions and local things, but there's just no point in voting for president for me in this state.

I get it but there is still a huge difference in their platforms. If we give Obama a 4th term, it’s over. 

Had a shooting this weekend. Nobody hit, but tons of shots fired.
So we set up crime tape, start interviewing people, etc etc.
So like 40 minutes later, with crime tape up blocking the street, and cops and cop cars everywhere, some dumbass tried to drive through the crime tape (someone always does).
So as we go to yell at them (it's a crime scene) we go "say.... you guys look like cholos". And we detain them.
... and get two guns out of it. 
 
... that were used in the shooting.
... and matched a shooting the night before.
 
This isn't me saying "we did good work". It's me saying "youuuuuu literally had an entire other street to turn down... or simply back up.... or at bare minimum, maybe take the bandanas off of your necks while you drive through crime scene tape, with a bunch of cops standing around.
 
That throw Ohoppe made to 1st the other day was less stupid than this.

I grew up a Yankee fan.  This was in the days of them not being very good at all. CBS owned them. They were terrible.
Then one day a group of millionaires headed by a man named George Steinbrenner bought the team.  He's know for spending money no doubt, but also big on shaking a team up.  He did so and they were successful again.   Lately they haven't but I'd say they have a better organization from top to bottom than Angels.
Once Arte sells, and that day will come eventually, the Angels will be on their way to meaningful change.   As far as shaking up the team, Ohtani possibly leaving, Trout being moved and gutting the coaching staff, might just be a shakeup that is needed that can help in the near term. IMHO
