Imagine how you guys are going to like him when he is still president four years from now. If you think his brain is soft now, imagine him at 85. And yet your dumb ass party is doing everything in their power to make that happen by putting up Trump again.

I think that is the case in California. Maybe New York too (I assume that is where this suit is venued). I think you have to put up a bond equivalent to the judgment, or maybe even more than the judgment. Also, I believe in this case the jury awarded something like 15 mil in compensatory damages and 65 in punitive damages. That ratio is constitutional and fully lawful. So unless an appeals court finds the amount of compensatory damages wasn’t justified by the evidence, the punitive damages award should stand.

I'd be fine if the Angels make zero moves for the rest of the season if it means they have a new owner.

At this point I think it’s more likely that breaking news pertaining to the Angels will be less of the “Angels to sign Blake Snell” and more along the lines “(insert name) has deal in place to buy Angels from Arte Moreno.”

Holy shit everything in this post is completely wrong.
There's no character in Fantastic 4 called "Stretch."
If you want to talk about the most adulterous person ever to sit in the White House that would be Trump. Raped his first wife, cheated on her with his eventual 2nd wife, purchased his third wife, and is now being criminally charged for paying to cover up that he fucked a porn star. Not to mention he's been found guilty of sexual assault in a civil trial
    Wopphil isn't a Dem.

There hasn’t been a shred of evidence that Clinton did anything other than exercise bad judgment (real shocker there).

I don’t know how accurate this is. Keep in mind, the secret service has to log all his trips. But I’m not arguing about Clinton’s morality (or lack thereof).  My original point was that the same Republican Party that impeached Clinton for lying about sex will forgive literally anything Trump does. It’s remarkably hypocritical and pathetic. And it’s going to be hilarious when they nominate him again this year, and then he loses to an 82 year old Biden. Imagine how good this forum is going to be in 4 years when 86 year old Biden is still president and the Republicans nominate Trump again.

I mean, the guy has won two Cy Young awards, including last year. I don’t think he would be the worst addition to the team. In fact, I am reasonably confident he would outperform every single other starter we have.

Giving a massive contract to a player for his decline years is something the Angels have done many, many times.
I'm not upset that they did not give one to Shohei.
Will I miss watching him play for the Angels? Of course.
But the Angels couldn't win when they were paying him well below his market value. They weren't going to win paying him 50, 60, or 70 million per year.
I am ready for the next chapter.
