    Physics has yet to explain the trajectory of his fly balls. He has never scored two runs in an inning, but once he scored two runs on one play. Umpires never dare call the infield fly rule on his pop ups. Out of respect Tim McCarver remains silent during his at-bats.

    Definitely worth the time to read. Can't wait for part 2! M buffet used to be the s*** 3 years ago. Downtown Vegas is okay as things are not too spread out and you don't need to walk forever to get anywhere.

    Actually when I realized the game ended on a DP I just laughed out loud. The way things have been a game ending DP is just all too fitting. I still remember watching games and not caring if we win or lose...back in those so-so years in the late 90s and early 00s (except 02, of course). It was relaxing to just simply enjoy a game of baseball.

    Let bygones be bygones. Hindsight is always 20/20. There are plenty of reasons these guys are no longer on the Angels roster. Change of scenery did them good. Would we like to trade them back?

    I too think it might be time for MS to go. We have seen more and more questionable in-game moves in recent years. The players don't seem to hustle anymore and, like a lot of you have also pointed out, they are just going through the motion. Whether or not this is the kind of team MS wants (big hitters and mediocre pitching, but if these are the cards he is dealt (pretty decent deck, too), then it is his job to get the most out of it.

    I think MS needs to stick Williams in either the rotation or the pen. The same can be said for Richards. They are probably thinking they need to be perfect every time in every role. This added uncertainty can't possibly help. After all, they are our 5th starters and 5th starters are expected to struggle from time to time.

    We need to play like a 100-win team (out of a 162-game) in the remaining 81.5% of the season to get to 92-93 wins. That just seems an impossible feat with the way we have been playing.
