This is what a car on the ground looks like when someone puts like 10 pounds of bomb on their chest. Versus what you see on the photos of a supposed 500 to 2000 pound bomb.

Here goes multiple bombs being dropped. Not one but several, but same effect. You'll note it's not the movies and there aren't giant fireballs. Because bombs don't do that. (Or grenades or any other shit Hollywood does) What does create fireballs is things like gas and propellant. Things like you shoot into the sky, not drop from it. The gif here shows what bombs being dropped look like. The plane dropping rhe bomb would look different Like the videos of the WTC being hit by a plane and causing a huge fireball.

Obviously that's propaganda Almost like this picture of the Gazan hospital, where Israel dropped 500 to 2000 pounds of explosives into a steel encased bomb that's able to drop multi-floor concrete buildings. But can't knock the fronds off of a palm tree, or make a hole in the gound bigger than when I used a sledgehammer to move a tree last May.

Rest assured, Israel will give you more than you need to point fingers and make them out as the bad guy. But this one wasn't it. This was Gaza fucking up and hitting their own people. Before the next piece of bad news comes out, let me add here... By the time I'm done writing this, Israel may actually top this story and blow up a nursery and kill 10,000 kids. If not that, they WILL kill hundreds of innocent people caught in the middle of all this. They aren't "the good guy". That said, go back to how you judged this story... if Israel was a monster for bombing that hospital, so is Hamas and their partners. Apply the same standard. Period. If we accept that they obviously didn't mean to, and that it was an unfortunate accident (it obviously was) just remember to apply the same standard to Israel when they f*ck up and hit the wrong people. (Which is impossible not to do when you fight in cities) Lastly, because it's needed here, we all have an attention span of 4 minutes. So maybe people forgot, but it was a little under 2 weeks ago that Hamas set this whole thing in motion. They did by entering Israel, killing 1000 people, the bulk of which were unarmed civilians, then proceeded to shoot literally thousands of rockets into Israel, all of which are merely aimed at "them", not the IDF. Thousands of the same rockets that within the last 24 hours everyone was up in arms over hitting Palestinians. (If it hit Israel would that have been ok?) Use the same standard. Again. Israel the good guy. They aren't wearing white gloves. Nobody should be blindly siding with them in the overall big picture. But siding with Hamas and the Palestinians is just as stupid, especially given the past week.

I keep refreshing Al Jazeera and no update on this... Have a buddy in Lebanon and one in Amman right now... it's no good.

It's not like Hamas and the other Gazan terror groups have a history of shooting rockets in populated areas, and some that fall on the Gazans themselves. And I'll add here that the rockets that do actually make it to Israel, it's not like they don't have a history of being indiscriminate and hitting innocent civilians.

Let me also add here that I have no idea, perhaps 1000 people were killed there. But not where they say it happened.... ... those pictures of the aftermath... are suspiciously missing the leftovers of blood, eyeballs and bloody bandages that would occur if 500 people were blown apart....

There was a reason it was in Civil War prior to the Soviets and again just after. The suggestion Clinton is making here is that essentially Afghanistan froze in time from 1989 to 2001.

Again, for anyone who's interested in this current situation, you need to go back decades. And everyone should. It's not only very interesting but it's very relevant, and isn't going away anytime soon. Until Palestinians get their own country. And until that happens the situation is going to be the lightning rod of the region. And what you're seeing currently isn't just "Isreal vs Gaza", but Iran vs Saudi... Anyone thinking that the possibility of the Saudis... home of the two holiest sites in Islam, copying up to normalize with Isreal of all people isn't huge is blind... ... and the reason behind it is that Iran has at this point basically taken over Iraq, with Syria as its partner, and it's firm footprint in Lebanon... The rest of the region is choosing sides for what's coming next... Hamas forced a response from Isreal, and Isreal's response is exactly what Tehran, I mean Gaza, wants. Because no way can the Saudis go forward with shaking hands with the Isreal now, at least any time soon.
