  1. Also... can each of my fellow Angelswin brethren please go "Like" our facebook page and follow @kaoticradio on twitter. Thanks!
  2. I look like I'm hockin' up a loogie (lugi? loogie?)! Great times, Chuck. Thanks for posting the pic, brother! Sorry I didn't call you this weekend... as I mentioned, it was the little man's 3rd bday and I took him to watch a bunch o' rednecks turn left. Then they turned left. Then they turned left again. Let's open this discussion up again. I'll call you tonight. Geoff, we can pre-record it... and we can possibly broadcast the podcast that you guys normally do, but our Upland studio is a much better place to do a professional broadcast with capabilities for multiple callers, flawless sound, etc. We will re-play the live broadcast 2 or 3 times throughout the week. What I really encourage is the LIVE broadcast where callers can be a part of the whole thing as it happens. You can have callers with a podcast, but they can't respond to one another
  3. If they call that number they'll pay $11.99/minute to hear me to breathe heavy. Waller, please don't make me ask wtf all your inside jokes mean. I'm a rookie.
  4. Mike Morin didn't get the memo today. Put him on the 25-man.
  5. If I should be concerned about harassment from my fellow Angelswin brethren... can you please delete my number from your post and mine, Chuck? Thanks, bruddah!
  6. Lohse is like the chick in the corner of the bar. She's over there drinking Cristal and she's kinda ugly. There are no other girls to talk to, so you keep considering making an approach. You realize that she's drinking some expensive stuff, so you don't want to buy her a drink so you do nothing. All the other girls in the bar, including the girl you brought with you, keep breaking wind and puking on themselves. You're a 12-pack deep and ol' Lohse is starting to look better and better... regardless of her price. Sad thing is that this ugly chick in the corner would instantly be our #3 starter. Maybe even #2, since CJ's elbow definitely doesn't look 'right'. At least Burnett looked good today. Giving up no runs in an inning, dropping his ERA to under 17. Ugghhhh.
  7. You listen on your phone in your car by downloading the apps mentioned above. Most listeners connect their phones to their car stereos with an Auxiliary cable or bluetooth. Who is DR... And where can I hear the Shenanigans show?
  8. I own on an internet radio station in Upland, called Kaotic Radio. We are not a podcast. We are a raw and uncensored radio station that has 15,000+ listeners who hear our talk shows that are live throughout the week, and replayed at various times. We are now launching a more family-friendly station: Kaotic Sports. We'll have many different sports shows, top 40 music, while also broadcasting live play-by-plays of So Cal's amateur and professional sports. I want Angelswin to be a big part of Kaotic Sports. With all the brilliant and funny baseball minds on this forum, we could create a very fun show. I have not yet had a chance to listen to the Angelswin podcast, but I want to see if there would be an interest in some of you hosting a LIVE weekly Angelswin.com radio show - possibly on Sunday nights. This could either replace the podcast or just be an additional way for us Angels fanatics to communicate. The show would likely be replayed at least 4 times each week. This is a very good opportunity for Angelswin to reach a larger group of listeners and grow the website, and it's a great opportunity for Angelswin members to be a part of a live radio show, while bringing the Angelswin flavor to it in a less intimidating atmosphere for callers and guests than Angels radio. Please respond with your thoughts. Would you listen to such a show? Are you interested in being on a weekly live radio show? If Angelswin doesn't do it, we might get stuck having a Doyers radio show. Please save us from that travesty! To listen to our station, you can simply visit www.kaoticradio.com and click Listen Live, or on your phone download the Live365, Shoutcast, iTunes Radio, Stitcher or Winamp applications on your phone and search for Kaotic and Kaotic Radio as a preset. Please also 'like' us on Facebook. We have a beautiful studio in Upland, CA and outstanding equipment. We just need the brains and talent of some of you to make a great new show! Please give me your honest input!
  9. So Arte needs to open the check book for Dave Duncan, not Lohse, right?
  10. I know. I'm not worthy...at least I finally got a response. I am somebody! - Navin
  11. I'm remembering why I keep disappearing from the board. Besides previous bashes on Sosh and Mathis, I don't think I've ever posted anything that proved worthy of a response from any of you regulars. Snobs. I feel like the dork at lunch who's trying to hang out with the cool kids and keeps jumping into their conversation, but they pretend I'm invisible. Karma is paying me back for being the douche in high school who ignored the dorks. The tables have turned.
  12. I didn't see Coello's early spring efforts (when he struggled)... however, I did see him in person last Friday against Seattle and saw him on TV last night and he looked impressive in both outings. Dominant, actually. He definitely needs a lot of work, but I see some solid potential there. I predict he'll be the Maronde of 2013. Desperately searching for a bright spot in a disasterous and scary Spring Training. We need Lohse... badly.
  13. It's that Angelswin.com Karma. Chicken Enchiladas, out!
  14. Good point... but I don't think we can wait that long. Trumbo will be traded for someone by the end of April.
  15. ...and same question regarding Hoyas. Don't tell me it's a bulldog.
  16. Does any other team in all of baseball have a more questionable #3-5 rotation? Boras' client has all the leverage he ever could have dreamed of having by pitting the Rangers against the Halos. We're both pretty desperate at this point, and Lohse would have far more success in Angels Stadium than Arlington. 2 months ago, I wouldn't have signed Lohse to a 1-year $10 million deal, but now I'd give him a 3-yr $45 million deal to keep him away from Texas while also filling 1/3 of our massive void in the rotation.
  17. Can I just say that Kyle Lohse is looking mighty attractive right now. Dammit, Boras.
  18. I think this is the 3rd time introducing myself to Angelswin... I absolutely love the site when I check in, but (I know this won't be popular), but I wish the world would just agree to use Facebook for everything so we don't have to check 27 different sites to socialize. Ok, that's not the REAL reason that I haven't posted much. The truth is, after Mathis was traded, I just haven't been able to wipe away the tears long enough to post something. Devastated by the loss of that stick. Time has healed me. I'm recovered from that heartbreak. However, if V-dub gets traded, I might just disappear again. Anyways, a little about me... again: - Lifelong Halos fan. I've been to nearly every Angels playoff game since '86 (with the exception of AK's 3HR game in the ALCS in '02). - Season ticket holder for a few years, but now usually just go when I get hooked up with freebies from subcontractors - which is quite often, thankfully. - Rod Carew is my all-time favorite Halo, with King Fish coming in as a close 2nd. - I live down the street from the Epicenter, so before the Doyers took over and ruined my joy, I was spoiled to watch studs like Trout, Howie, Trumbo, Weave, Bourjos play often. None of them were nearly as impressive as Dallas McPherson or B-Wood. How'd that work out? - Attended AWFanfest13 and will definitely be back next year.
  19. Great event, fellas. Congratulations on such success! All your hard work paid off and we all reaped the benefits. Lots of great questions were answered honestly and candidly. The media round table was great. I loved their stories. Fish was perfect, as always. His answer to my steroid question was so enlightening and real. Rather than wonder how much better his career could have been if he took them, he wondered how much better he would have been if his opponents weren't using them. DiPoto is just a magnetic, diplomatic and brilliant human being. His answers are always safe and politically correct, yet somehow eye-opening. The young players were as gracious, patient and polite as Arte would expect. Each of them were a clear reflection of the outstanding organization that they represent. Condolences to Arte. He was missed, but all was great without him. It was just a great room and I was proud to be in it. Can't wait for #AWFanfest14! Go Halos!
