Waller, the Hail Marys held events were so much fun, but we've grown up and so did our venues along the way.

This is always the weekend I look forward to all year, and after missing it last year I swore I'd never go with my Padres friends again! It was an amazing weekend as always. And in case anyone is wondering, Hail Marys is now called Mary's place and they're not open Saturdays, even when there's a UFC fight.

 

 

How the HELL can you own a sports bar and be CLOSED on a Saturday night???

DR, I totally agree. It was an absolute pleasure talking to him last Saturday. Kid is incredibly talented, but so humble and yet a quiet confidence about him.

 

He had a plumbing issue at his place but still showed up despite being really late. That shows me a lot as he could have just said screw it, it's too late or I've had too much to deal with after being at the ballpark doing drills and playing a game all day. He showed and even wanted to show me the receipt he had to pay the plumber.

This was the Sunday morning fanfest turnout back in 2007

 

 

Many of the same folk but they brought about 100 friends this season.

 

 

Next season we may need a bigger stadium.

AW Fanfests are always a good time.  Hopefully I can make it to the Summer FanFest this year.  Thanks for running a good show, BODs.
 
Since I have been to every fanfest since 2009, I feel like I am qualified to give excellent constructive criticism.  
I feel like we are wasting our time with these no name interviewees such as Salmon, Dipoto, Vincent Rojas and that Owner guy.  We should scratch all that mumbo jumbo and just open the floor to the board of directors and perhaps a magician or balloon guy. I have a cousin that does small parties. Just give me a call, I'll hook you up with a discount.
