If you are into Mediterranean food and have transportation, nowhere in town better than Paymons. Two locations, one at Flamingo and Maryland Parkway, the other on West Sahara. The one on Sahara also has a hookah lounge, not sure about the Flamingo location. The Sahara location is the nicer of the two, but also the farthest from the Strip. Their falafel is the best I've ever had, incredible hummus, their Athens seasoned fries are practically a food group by themselves. My favorite thus far is the chicken curry, diced white meat chicken with a curry sauce served over a bed of rice.

I took an ex to the steakhouse at the top of stratosphere.  Planned it so that it was right before sunset.  So you get a revolving view of the Vegas area in full light, and as the sun sets, you watch as all the lights and neon come on around vegas.  I got some huge points for that.

The steakhouse is average, maybe a bit above average.  The price is high.  But the view is what you are really paying for.

As for other things, it depends on what your GF and your tastes are.  Minor league game?  Roller Coasters like at NYNY.  Drinking?  Just sigtseeing?  Strip Clubs?  Hey I don't judge if your GF is into that sort of thing.

My only advice is that you avoid that stupid club at the Wynn...it's called XS.

Me and my buddies paid $50 each to get in. I'm such an idiot. Don't be a sucker like me. unless you enjoy techno beats on a loop for 5 hours, $10 water, and the highest douchnozzles per capita.

Stay away from the Bourbon room at the Venetian. 18% tax on drinks. cost me $35 for two beers.

Nine Fine Irishmen at the New York was a fun bar. Live irish music and cool bartenders.

Buffet at the Rio is a must.

Not a club type of guy, so I'll avoid every club in Vegas.

I love the buffet at the Rio. And agrees on Nine Fine Irishmen, very fun bar. Will definitely make a pit stop there.

How about hotel suggestions? I've stayed at the MGM, Palms place, stratosphere (cheap), and Monte Carlo. I've had a couple people recommend the Rio. I could get a studio suite at the palms relatively cheap. How is treasure island ?

Rio suites aren't bad.  They aren't Venetian, Bellagio quality.  But they are comfortable cheap suites.  Plus they have a shuttle going to Bally's and Harrah's, so you don't have to drive much.

Give the dealer half the money you were going to bet. Then he'll take you out back, kick you in the nuts, and you can call it a day.

Usually you pay double for that kind of action, Cotton.
