Is the Price going down yet?

I'm fairly sure the Rays want to move him sooner than later. I'm wondering if Price is even a thought in Dipoto's mind? If so, is there a chance in hello we could land him.

Looks like the Mariners aren't interested in trading Walker.

The only person that would fit the Rays mold is Callhoun.  Richards might be a possibility also, since he only has one year of service.  But with us trading Bourjos and Trumbo, I think there is a better chance of a snowball fight in hello.

The Rays still have all the leverage, since the 2 years of remaining team control means they don't HAVE to trade Price now, and other teams have better stuff to offer anyway.

I don't agree. At that point team control will be reduced to little more than one season, which will significantly reduce the incentive for any club unlikely to sign him to an extension. IMO waiting reduces the field of potential buyers and also what the Rays can get in return. Things are at their peak right now.
