always wanted to do that from my place in the city. 

photo people: is that something best done with SLR or like a GoPro?

 

NOTE: this dude is a pro and these took like 10 months to do. I just meant doing a 24hour time-lapse kind of thing watching the city lights / golden gate bridge / fog etc. I think you can do it with an SLR but I barely even know how to turn mine on.

That was awesome.  Hard to imagine that just ten years ago, the technology to pull this off wasn't anywhere close. 

 

Good riddance to the days of film.  Digital is so much better.
