White Sox To Sign Scott Downs

 

I thought the Angels should re-sign him.  But for $4 million, one year.  Wow are relievers getting pricey.  Thanks in part to the Angels front office that overbid on them.  But good for Downs.  Hope he does well there.

We got the best years out of Downs........he started out well for us and then sort of had a bad year -I think in 2012 - and sort of bounced back last year.........

Can't believe how much these lefty specialists are getting paid.

Boone Logan getting 3 years 15 million? Javier Lopez for something similar. I'd much rather sign guys like Rapada and get close to similar production and save money.
