Dang it all. I recently dropped Netflix in favor of Amazon Prime, since I already pay for the prime. But Netflix is getting some top notch new entertainment. I may have to sign back up.

Any idea when they're adding the final season of Breaking Bad?

Amazon's pickings are slimmer, yes, but with the time I have, it seems to be working for me.

 

One thing I do like about the way Amazon does their self-produced show roll outs is that they release one episode a week, rather than a whole season all at once.

 

I like the anticipation of waiting a week for a show, rather than 12 straight hours of a single show back to back.

 

It gives me just enough to make me want more, but not too much.

 

Sons of Anarchy, this season is a perfect example of too much per episode. Even though I know that without commercials it's an hour, seeing an hour and a half per episode makes it seem too daunting.

 

Netflix does have quite a few shows that I want to see, though, and I may end up ponying up for a month or two while work is slow, catching up on a bunch of stuff, then killing my membership again.

I think Netflix UK has episodes 9-16 of season 5  up already.
