Angels Official Website: Scioscia places more value in on-field chemistry

Recommended Posts

While team chemistry may be overrated it doesnt mean its not important or valueable. How important is it to all of us that we get along with co workers in the work environment? For me its moderately important.

I'm a department manager, and my job would be ten times tougher if the people on my staff didn't like each other and didn't get along. I realize that my work environment is a little different from Mike Scioscia's, but it would seem that things are a lot easier and more pleasant if the mix of personalities is at least somewhat compatible.

while I agree to a point thatt winning breeds chemistry, I disagree that a positive work enviornment doesn't effect on field performance. Theres good clubhouses and bad ones. These guys aren't robots

I agree with this. If you aren't the most talented team in your division you better have good chemistry or whatever that "it" factor is. You'll also need to be able to rally late in games to steal a few wins.
