I think there is a lot of good baseball reasoning for trading Trout. That said they'd be stupid to do it. The fan base would be so pissed off, worse than when the Dodgers trading Piazza. 

 

Just think what Trout is really worth. He's gotta be worth two pre arb ace quality pitchers, and a pre arb all star outfielder to replace him. The hardest part would actually being able to put together a package that was of equal value. He's gotta be worth Chris Sale, Steven Strasberg, and Jason Heyward as an opening to the discussion.

I am not sure there is a team that could or would offer what he's worth.  You could never get enough in players to make up for his talent on the field let alone his value to the franchise.
