If Trout were to have played third base....maybe, just maybe he would've won the MVP the last 2 years.  I mean, are we really to believe that his offensive numbers go up or down based on which blades of grass he stands on?

I'm mainly talking about his overall play and value being effected by moving to LF.

 

He's a natural CF'der and if there's one thing I'm happy about in the Bourjos trade, It's the fact that trout will be the CF'der without any question.

 

And I really do believe his defense was hurting from the switch.

I don't believe Trout's offense suffered because he was in LF. I think this is an excuse he is using to trade Peter. I feel that way and you guys all think I'm an apologist. I'm shocked I'm the only one who thinks this to be honest.

I don't know if he's using it as an excuse but I always thought Bourjos would get traded partly so there would be no reason for Trout ever move out of CF.

I'm not arguing this point. It's a small factor. Except the numbers last year prove DIPoto's argument. I understand this for an infielder or a Catcher but not for a CF.
