8) Bronson Arroyo

11) Paul Maholm

12) Roberto Hernandez

14) Ubaldo Jimenez

15) Bartolo Colon

23) Wandy Rodriguez

25) Joe Saunders

26) Jake Westbrook

28) Edison Volquez

Prices should start to come down after the Winter Meetings. While we paid 25M per season for Hamilton, we did get him for only 5 years which was down from the expected 7-9 years most thought he would get.

January would be a good time to pick up a reclamation project by simply giving him a ST invite. Scott Baker may fit this category.

Scott Baker.  First, he's been meh now for a couple of years.  Second, he's coming off of TJ surgery.

Can we stop trying to get damaged goods and hope they work out please.

What's left? Yanks have a ton of money to spend with Cano gone and they'll be looking for pitching. Don't see the Halos getting an arm they want if the Yanks want him

at this stage it's looking like they need to look at the Baker types or guys who sucked looking to rebuild their value on a 1yr deal. Trading Kendrick or Trumbo would/should net them a #3-4 starter, but then that creates a hole on offense

The Yankees are in an interesting situation due to the whole A-Rod circus. They may not want to do too many more big contracts in case they have to pay him.

Yep, a win for Jerry and Arte only 5 years of dead weight from Hamilton instead of 7.

FYI, most people thought Hamilton would only get 3/30.  He wasn't worth that much and it looks like they were right.

Harang is this year's Blanton. Jerry is probably waiting for his price to come down to 2/15. I hate to see what ticket prices are going to be around baseball with these absurd contracts.

Tickets prices have very little to do with the contracts being handed out. It's the additional revenue from the big national broadcast deal and all these huge regional deals that teams are getting. There is more money than good players at this point.

You are flat out wrong. No one thought Hamilton was only going to get 3 and $30 million.

I'd do whatever's necessary to get Daniel Hudson in an Angels uniform, then sign a Halladay/Johan on an inceptive based deal and see what the Angels could get for Kendrick now that Cano's been dealt.  That is if they were being cost-minded.  If not, F it, just throw a bunch of money at Tanaka/Garza.

Here's the bottom line for me.  The Angels and their fans need to be prepared to not make the playoffs next season and garner more early draft choices.  Sit tight and 1) Do not overpay for mediocrity or worse, and 2) Do not give away the #11 draft pick.  We are all in "immediate gratification" mode.  In order to be good long-term, sacrifices need to be made.  If we can generate a trade to improve ourselves long-term, we should do that.  If not, hold onto the pieces we have and see what value they have come July.  Wait until late December and into January and take advantage of players who have been left behind.
