Its a dumb signing as they would have been better off spending that money throughout the roster as they are far more than one player away. Cano should ask Beltre how much he enjoyed Seattle. The money going around is silly business.

Wouldn't be surprising. They now have Nick Franklin + Taijuan Walker they can dangle to teams. Royals are another team they could go to since they are known to be wanting a 2B

 

Point is, Halos now have direct competition when it comes to having a 2B available for trade, and they have more/better stuff to offer along with that. This offseason is not going well for the Halos
