According to Fletcher they are Targeting Tanaka or Garza and Feldman, along with any pitcher that isn't old or connected with a draft pick. Edited December 6, 2013 by HBMike

Scott Feldman, another NL mirage. 5+ ERA when he was with Texas in 2012 and then went from a 3.46 ERA with the Cubs to a 4.27 ERA with Baltimore last season

Signing Feldman would be very similar to signing Blanton

I would so much have rather had Hughes than Feldman it's silly.  I am not on board with them signing him unless he's our swing/6th man option by the end of the offseason. Even still, I'd just as soon give that spot to Shoemaker

Some may not like this news, but I LOVE it. I want neither on this team.

 

I'd like the team to make a strong run at Garza. As for Tanaka, I think we all want him, as do I.

Where does it say anything about Feldman. Actually im glad we're not connected with those 2. I'd rather just trade Trumbo for a #4 and sign a #5 like Chuck suggested.

Not too bad and pretty cheap. If that 5th pitcher is Colon or Arroyo, fine but I wouldn't put too much money into them.
