CNBC had a McD's worker on who was part of the strike. He has been on the job for 6 months and at some point already went into his boss and asked for a raise.

He went into his boss? If he didn't get the raise I'm guessing he didn't take any photos. Blackmail noob.

I guess Jack is going to have to make it 2 Tacos for 1.99.

Or downgrade from grade D- to grade F meat.  Those tacos are terrible.

I admit that $15 an hour is a bit of a stretch, but these people do have a legit gripe.  Under no circumstance, in the wealthiest country in the world, should anybody have to work full time to earn below the poverty line.

Working at a fast food restaurant should be a job, not a career.  Part of the journey, not the destination.  That is what is wrong with these strikers.  They are content with just being a fast food worker because they presumably have no other skills.  Sorry

Exactly.  These jobs are for high school kids, not grown-ups trying to support a family.

I assume they raped somebody and went to prison

yeah, I guess it depends on the shirt they are wearing or if a tie is attached.

I always thought felonies were warehouse dudes or ups guys at their hubs (which by the way, isn't a bad gig. I had a buddy that did some kind of warehouse gig with ups and did pretty well to which when he got promoted had a pretty good career)
