Ehh... Can't complain about it unless he signed for something like 3 million. We have a good closer who is relatively cheap with a couple of backups ready to step in just in case he falters or goes through a rough stretch. Need the resources to improve the starting rotation.

Regardless of what he gets, Wilson seems like the type of guy that would just pick the team he like regardless of money.  So if he signs a reasonable deal with the dogs, it doesn't mean we could have gotten him for similar.

I was one of the earliest posters on this board to push the signing of Wilson, but at 10 million???  LOL...I am sure glad we didn't.

 

Do the Dodgers even try to negotiate with players anymore or do they just ask the free agent how much money they want and then give it to them?
