Garza is average at best. I'm not sold on him being a significant upgrade over Phil Hughes...

I was on board for Hughes like a few others. I thought he provided significant value with that deal.

 

Garza isn't a bad option either though. Getting an average pitcher would help this rotation.

Just my honest opinion Stradling ... let me sugar coated for you, Angels are a lock to sign Tanaka!

 

Actually, I'm rooting for the Angels to sign him. I believe their plan is to to sign a 'Ace' type pitcher. They must of read my post awhile back titled 'Two Aces in the Hole'. I would prefer Price over Tanaka if possible. Looks like we'll end up with Garza.
