Can I dream that Pujols decided to waive his NTC and Arte chipped in 100M to get him moved?

A Kendrick and Cron package makes some sense. I wonder if that would be enough to entice the Rockies to part with some of their young pitchers.

good point. For some reason I thought cuddyer was moving there.

So trumbo/cron makes sense then. But do they have anything to send back that we would want? (And by anything I mean realistic).

I wonder if it could be green, as silly as that sounds. Or maybe even iannetta back?

That would be nice, but even with the Angels eating a lot of his contract, I don't see a NL team trading for him. He'll probably need to DH for most of the last 5-6 years of his contract (if not sooner).

Chuck said it was a significant player on the halos yet he wouldn't indicate potential playerS in return.  I don't think he would have phrased it like that if it were a lesser player like Cron or Green. 

 

Because of Colorado's need for a 1bman, I'm still thinking Trumbo and less likely Kendrick.

They've got some redundancy in the outfield, especially if Cuddyer moves there with the acquisition of a first baseman (either from Angels or elsewhere) and they could probably use further help in bullpen....

Jepsen and Trumbo and prospect for Fowler, Pomeranz and prospect?

Mildly realistic yet unlikely dream scenario would be Cuddyer moving to 1b and the halos moving some cash and Hamilton.  Doubt it though.

While I wouldn't mind that outcome, I just can't see it going down after the Freese deal. It wouldn't make sense to deal Bourjos only to trade Hamilton a week later. I couldn't handle Jables (Shuck) as a starter, guy looks lost in the outfield sometimes.But who knows with the Angels FO. Edited November 26, 2013 by The Dude

and I think it would be similar viciousness if he were reacquired for Trumbo.  I would not be very happy about that personally.

That's kind i f how I see it doc. I don't think they have anything worth giving up trumbo/kendrick (unless its someone they wouldn't want to give up). I don't really see the two teams matching up, unless its for lesser known players (like depth/bullpen arm).
