Would you trade Trumbo for Corbin?

Dbacks loaded with pitching, short on power hitters

both teams would be dealing from a position of strength

 

Not sure if either team would accept the deal - Corbin does not have a long tack record

I think Trumbo for Skaggs makes a lot of sense, though.

If we don't move Trumbo at the meetings, he ain't going anywhere.  As time passes, I get more and more skeptical that he is going to return more than a younger version of Vargas.

He will be older, have fewer team controlled years and would likely be more expensive via arbitration - don't you think that might offset whatever value an improvement might bring?

 

My fear is that if we don't move him, we'll be Garret Jones-ing him in two years.

I would LOVE to get Corbin back but Trumbo isn't enough to get him. Not really close at all actually.
