Royals to sign Jason Vargas

I wish Vargas the best but I can't help and think about people who were saying to extend him for quite a bit more during the season prior to his injury.  If it weren't for a freak injury maybe he gets that but ultimately I agree with arch and think someone else can provide what he did.  Obviously though the issue for the Angels is the fact that they needed pitching when Vargas was still here so him leaving creates more of a need.
