Windows 8 is indeed kinda bad. Microsoft tends to alternate between releasing good operating systems and bad operating systems. 2000 was meh, xp great, Vista crappy, 7 great, now Windows 8.

What bugs me the most about the Apple store isn't the douchiness, it's the robotic and scripted rebuttal to everything. Beyond annoying.

Another interesting thing is because they are always crowded, you get to see how technologically inept society is. It's actually pretty unique to see the questions and problems they have.

The guy all but apologized, pulling out his non-Iphone, saying he had to have it for work, not what he really wanted.  He couldn't have been more embarrassed if he let out a big fart.

I've got an iPhone and iPad given to me by my employer. I like them both. Doubt I would pay for them if they weren't free to me though. 

Our boss gave us all iPads last christmas, I probably wouldn't own one if it wasn't free either

I got a windows phone a few weeks ago.

pretty happy with it, I really like the interface and intuitiveness of the apps. Also the touch screen and keyboard is actually big enough to accurately use

Apple computers are good if you're involved in sound engineering or animation but PCs are more user-friendly, cheaper, and you can actually play games on them.

I love my Apple computers. I am in the market for a new macbook pro and a new iMac. I have only used Apple products, so when I have to use a PC it is  very unnatural.

We got a mac desktop in the living room but it's such a pain in the ass to use. Something as simple as importing photos is a 500 step process because they try to force everything through iWhatever and trying to print out a set of photos is even worse. With Windows all you have to do is select, hit print, and choose your layout. What part of the Apple process is supposed to be easier and more intuitive? I don't get the hate for Windows 8 either. That tile layout is stupid and ridiculous but if you just take 5 minutes to install Classic Shell you get your old school start button back and it looks/feels just like Windows 7 with a few minor navigation changes.
