Trumbo is likely our best trading chip due to the perception of the value of power, but he is also the guy I feel we would miss the least of all trade candidates. He is an ideal trade candidate, so hopefully this is just posturing to get something better.

DiPoto better be looking at teams in the AL and not his usual dance around trading within the American League.  There are more suitors in the AL and getting pitching back with AL experience would be better than hoping an NL guy can pitch just as well in a tougher league.

So 3 of those 7 were AL teams, with 2 being with teams in the AL West.

 

Technically, he also traded Chris Snyder to the Orioles for Rob Delaney, but who cares about that one.

I'm all for trading Trumbo if we can get good SP for him. I'm reluctant though because I don't really wanna see him go unless a team overpays (very likely) and I don't wanna change my avatar.

I am curious to see what Trumbo can improve on with Don Baylor helping out. But add another guy like Calhoun on offense and we'll score more runs. He's simply our best tradeable asset right now. If we don't get a no.3 starter+ or top pitching prospects then we'll have lost the deal.
