AngelsWin.com Comes Through Again

On November 5th, the OC Miracle League's founder and president Steel Morris had the following request.

 

On November 11th, I'm thrilled to announce that we have more than met Steel's goal in securing a couple of used laptops to help the OC Miracle League and purchased two BRAND NEW Toshiba laptops to run their charitable effort. In fact, we not only purchased two brand new laptops for Steel, but have also come up with an additional $575 from several AngelsWin.com members to help their cause. In total, we raised over a thousand dollars.

I extend my personal thanks to everyone who helped make this possible.  If you folks could see those young kids play ball at Pioneer Park, you would get a better understanding of the cause.  Wonderful people there.  This cause is highly supported by the Angels organization.  The head of the organization sent us a note of sincere thanks that Angels Win has "adopted" the Miracle League.

During the softball tourney, I wandered over to check-out the kids playing as much as I could.  I was hoping we'd be included somehow on the field to assist them, but it was still pretty motivating to see!

yeah, between our softball and golf tournaments for the OC Miracle League, we earned well over 3 thousand dollars. Jerome Williams who was a scheduled guest could not make it, but he matched our amount raised, bringing our total to well over 6 grand. Incredibly nice of him!

I'm happy to announce that Steel and the OC Miracle League have the laptops in hand!

 

On Nov 5th they posted a message about needing a laptop...ANY laptop. In less than a week, they received TWO BRAND NEW Laptops. To say they are amazed is an understatement.

 

Oh, to top it off, they still are getting around $500 in cash.

 

I applaud everyone on their efforts to support this great cause.
