Well this seems far more reasonable a start compared to the last game. Shame Hiller didn't start. Maybe we can get a Goalie fight. Not only are goalie fights awesome but I'd prefer Hiller versus Bernier.

The big difference in this game was the ducks playing the second game in two nights. The Kings took advantage in the third.

Wake up this morning at it's like everything is right with the world. Cats and dogs not living together. Peanut butter and chocolate back together after a trial separation. Everyone working for the weekend. Everything smells sweeter this morning.

They are still in position to get home ice in the first round.   None of the non-first place teams in the West is more than a few pts. in front, and the Kings have 5 more home games than road games for the rest of the season.

 

Not having Greene and Mitchell admittedly could jump up and bite them at any time.  

But Kings' fans have to love the contributions of the four blueline youngsters so far (Voynov, Muzzin, Drewiske, and Ellerbe) as they blend in with Doughty and Scuderi.

Gagne is an unrestricted free agent after this season. I guess the thinking is that they might as well get something of value for him. A 4th rounder isn't a bad return.
