Mormons.

 

There was a Mormon Church next to my elementary school.  The sign next to the parking lot read, "No Trespassing.  Violators will be prosecuted."   As a 7-year old kid, I had the definitions of prosecuted and executed switched up.  I thought they would kill me for riding my bike on their property.  Didn't help that my mom said not to go there, but that was for other reasons.  LOL

blue cheese is another one that i hated as a kid but will eat occasionally now. it has to be mild otherwise i'm walking away from it.

I was obviously stupid as a child.

Well, now that the train is back on the tracks.

 

Eggs.  Especially over easy, over medium eggs.  I used to hate the yolk.  Would only eat the egg whites.  Now it doesn't bother me as much.

Fish sticks. Hated them, was made to eat them, to this day cannot stand the smell or taste of seafood.

I thought it was a conspiracy since my Mormon friends tried to get me to ride bikes in the parking lot, and the dead bodies they "prosecuted" were kept in the church, in the area where non-Mormons are not allowed.
