Its amazaing for having such a shittty bullpen we keep letting solid relievers go..... Remember Darren O'Day!

 

Well Coello chose to go to free agency. We can't stop him from doing that and he will get interest from a lot of teams. I really can't blame him for doing so but I do hope we make an attempt to resign him.

I assumed he would be back, and he still could be. He had the chance to become a free agent and he took it, nothing wrong with that. He has a career to think about and going FA allows him to field offers and make a few more bucks. It's fringe guys like this that need free agency. What I mean by that is maybe the Angels offer him $600k and another team offers him $650k. That's a huge difference for someone that more than likely won't be set for life after the game of baseball. I guess I look at it differently that a guy that can make $10m or $11m. Hope that makes sense.

It makes perfect sense.  

 

Although, if it's a difference between $650 and $600, is it just me, or do the Angels seem to penny pinch in certain areas (see Trout's raise), and then get to be drunk sailors in the other spectrum.
