Max returned to school after missing 11 days on Tuesday after his bout with pneumonia. He and I both stayed home on Monday because now Momma is feeling a little flu-ish as well. Today he came home from school about half day feeling that he'd had enough. I'm feeling like TOTAL crap, coughing, with a migraine on top. Ready for a whole lot of wellness to come our way!!!!!

However, after she said that, she went on to say how she was so proud of herself for "taking a huge risk" by recently adopting two adult cats who the shelter couldn't find a home for. She then congratulated herself for committing a "completely selfless" act of kindness.

Finally some good news. Peyts just told me that his teacher told him to let me know that today was his best day of second grade yet!!! Thank goodness. Who knows what tomorrow brings, but for now we will be proud in this accomplishment. It's been a rough couple of weeks. And a rough time in second grade for the little guy.
