Agreed. I would say an over abundance of anything gets old: workout pics, Jesus, guns, food, wussy kids, etc. people need to diversify their interests.

Keeping up with your friend's kids is not bad. It's just when the kid is a turd and they're shoveling him or her down everyone's throat.

I don't have a FB for this reason, but will occasionally peruse my wife's account. I want to check on the ghetto cousins.

These are from a psycho friend(woman) from high school.  She posts absolutely everything.  She also posts a lot of food pictures.

 

Crap! Just realized i have nt been grocery shopping in 3 weeks! Guess who has NO FOOD IN HER CUPBOARD!!! EFF ME!! Well, i hope a can of soup will get me thru 16 hrs! If anyone is near the LAX Cargo dept, feel free to bring me food!! DAMMY DAMM DAMM!!! Uuugggghhhhh!!!

 

Well...i sucked it up AND survived my entire shift with major pain in my foot!! I got home and my heel and ankle are swollen! To top it all off, i got assigned an overtime shift at 0530 am!! Its nice, but I still have to work my 2:30 pm shift tomorrow too! Dont know if I can hang for 16 hrs straight on my foot!! Wish me luck, friends!!

Got off work at 11pm. Drove home, washed dishes, made lunch for tomorrow, cleaned out lunch box all in less than 1 hr! Night all! Tomorrow is a 12 hour day!!!

This reminds me of the story you told a few years back about how a friend of yours on Facebook was all stoked that she or her son just graduated from Devry or ITT Tech. That story was epic. Some people here were pissed.

this is a typical post from one of my single female friends from college. she has it a bit tough as she's the caregiver for her aged, ailing mother, but this is typical of what she posts.

 

"So many odds and ends to do, I feel like I'm about to start "spinning"...at least Mom's room has been tended to and she has fresh sheets on her bed...and I've sorted my scarves and hats and cleaned up a couple of "new" purses, and shelved some errant books, but I still need to open/read the packet from Senior Services about Senior Companions if that's ever going to get rolling, and I need to wash/dry Mom's hair today, and contact the casino about whether or not I have a shot at getting my postcards onto their racks, and clean my desk (file, file, file), and edit a TON of photos as I shoot nearly every day when I go on my walks, and I really would like to take one of those walks today...with or without a camera...oh me. But, it's all good! Great to be busy and occupied and have some sense of satisfaction when something is finally done. Have a great day, all!!"

I've since deleted her or have her on hide because she lives on FB, or did.

She posted about her son graduating ITT Tech and I mentioned it in one of these pet peeve threads and someone called it a cheap school or shitty education and it went down hill from there.

I actually kinda like this one.  Its positive, not complaining, and almost interesting.  If she does these everyday, no bueno, but this wasn't horrible.
