They won't back off.  He was already committed to Texas once this season too.

Bruins need to win again this season to prove they are a legit team and then I think it will be easier to recruit these guys.

Losing guys to tOSU and Alabama can be expected.

Can he play any of the DB positions?

Priest Willis is scheduled to report to UCLA, and is expected to be cleared by NCAA soon thereafter.

I like that UCLA has practically an entire new secondary.  Hester, Price, and McDonald were constantly getting abused throughout last season.  Abbott will be missed though.  Looking forward to the watching the redshirt and true freshman play.

Nate question

Lasely from Serra is making all 5 visits & when SC offers is Mora gonna pull his scholly?

Edit- he also said mora only wanted 2 wr this class but 4 committed right now. If mora gets higher profile wr's is not gonna honor these kids offers? Also lasley was quoted saying he's keeping his options options open. Doesnt ucla have a policy against that if they're "committed"

It is on a player by player basis.  Couple of times the coaches have felt that they are being lead on to believe the commitment is stronger than it is, they just don't put up with bullshit.  I don't think they are too worried if they lose out on Lasley.  The only have 3 WR commits, the other one you are thinking of is probably Sykes... he wants to commit but they won't accept his commitment at this time.

Mora always says he will take exceptional talent and find a spot for them, regardless of how many scholies or other players are committed.

By the way, I have no idea why someone took a picture from the 90's and made it black and white to look old.

Bruins opened up camp with a two and a half day Navy Seals training in San Diego before heading to San Berdoo tonight.

Loving the practice reports.  Reporters saying that the pace is way better than last year because all of the players that are returning are able to keep the frosh going.

Sounds like Woulard has a ton of potential, which is good in case Hundley is gone at the end of the year.  Also sounds like Priest Willis is a beast.

7 players have concussions? Johnny Johnson done? Kyle Fitts full body cramps? (This made me laugh) Vanderdoes hasnt practiced with back issues?

I thought SC was having a tough time with injuries...

UCLA is really sensitive to head injuries. They are just being extra cautious. Losing Johnson really sucks. Sounds like Eddie will be back really soon and Fitts just missed a day. He was severely dehydrated.
