An imperial Pint (UK) is 20 ounces, here in the states many places will actually sell a cheater pint which is only 14 ounces. There has been An Honest Pint Project to stop this for quite awhile.

Yes, but a lot of places consider the head part of the pint.

Actually they use smaller glasses some have thick bottoms and really only hold 12-14 ounces of liquid. Has nothing to do with the head on top.

A US pint is 16 ounces.

I wish bars did it like most of Europe, using glasses branded with the beer you're drinking.

And require a fill line like Germany.

I know what a pint is supposed to be, re-read what I wrote. Figured we all knew a pint is 16oz so no need to verify that. They dont use 16 oz glasses though at many places. They look like a pint glass but have a thicker bottom so in actuality they only hold 12-14 ounces of liquid.
