The short answer is no. This franchise is the main object lesson for what happens to teams who sign big money long term contracts with players on the wrong side of 30. Repeating the mistake won't make us better.

 

Cano would probably hit .220 with five home runs and lead the league in errors at second base.

No. This team has done enough wasteful spending over the past few years. Time to stop the vicious cycle and improve the teams true weaknesses(pitching depth across the board)
