I wish we could bring criminal charges to everyone in congress.

 

In reality it should be law that if there is a government shutdown like this, none of the members of congress/senate are eligible for reelection.

At the gym they have TV's on and yesterday some of them have been on CNN, Fox, etc and one of them was showing polls where mother in laws were heavily favored over congress and the POTUS.  They'll come to some kind of agreement at a point then when the elections roll around most of the same idiots will get re-elected.  I think the only way we'll see real change in this country is when it all comes tumbling down.

Looks like the Senate may make a deal.  I doubt the House will.  They are bigger morons then the Senate (which is really difficult to do).

Last minute deal is inevitable. Too much potential disaster, otherwise. Someone will emerge as the Saviour of the republic, and it will propel them into the national spotlight heading into midterm elections or possibly even the '16 election.
