Nothing but disrespect.  Those barriers only go up during emergencies, so it's understandable that he wasn't ready for them.

Once she avoided arrest the first time, almost hitting the cops with her car, she was all but marked for death. It would have taken a miracle on her part to avoid being shot. I'm not taking sides, I believe it's just the way they're trained.

I'm pretty sure the cops didn't know if she was armed while the incident was happening in real time. Easy to be critical after the fact. Not so much during.

yeah, you don't know what her intentions are. you have to be concerned with the safety of the public as well as the elected officials.
