I'm of course rooting for TB, but I do think there would be something kind of poetic about the Rangers winning it all in no small part to the Angels' utter incompetence and inability to take just 1 game in the final series.

Ya, it is, so on one hand I get why it is the way it is, but it's also effectively a one game playoff.

 

I think I rather see these Game 163s played under postseason rules than regular season rules, especially when you've got 2 other one game playoffs coming up after this that will play with normal 25 man rosters.
