More from Wilner on Allen.

  1. Last Allen: "He was probably in the 15-25 range before. But now he’s probably late second round.”

  2. More Allen: “He didn’t interview great at the combine. People thought he was big-timing them. And now this."

  3. NFL scout on Cal's Keenan Allen: “There were already character concerns. His stock will drop significantly.”

Dez Bryant laughs at you, Nando.

That's Jerry Jones for you

Ya Allen's step bro sucked at QB for Cal. Allen has all the tools to be the top WR taken but just look at his actions after the season. Not participating in Cal's PD. Not exactly having the best work out in front of scouts and now smoking drugs.

Who was the last WR to come out of Cal with "character issues?"

Allen and Maynard were a package deal. It wasn't worth it, though at the same time it's not like any of the other QBs was any more capable given the coaching they received.

Cal has three of the best offensive players in the NFL right now and the new staff is really trying to make a big deal of it. Hell, Lynch played in the Spring Game.

We took the step-brother (maynard) and had to start him because that was the only way to get allen.

allen is a great talent but definitely seems like a bonehead / big-timer type.

I know...that's how the got him to come from NC

Maynard from U of Buff. To Cal.

Looks like they finally replaced the last Tedford holdover: our strength and conditioning coach.

Dykes, not shockingly, brought in the guy from LaTech.

I get super hopeful that they'll be able to turn these guys around quickly like we saw with UCLA, but realistically I think a  .500 record would be a victory given the disarray the program was in.
