Who cares what he does in his own time? He's a good pitcher and our bullpen sucks. He's never caused problems in the clubhouse or been arrested or anything like that.

I seriously want Brian Wilson on this team, for multiple reasons.  1. He's a good reliever.  2. He's entertaining and not in the meltdown in the 9th inning type of way, but in the "you never know what he'll do next" way.....and 3. He puts butts in the seats.  He was loved in SF and all over Nor-Cal.  Still is really. 

 

Bat-shit psycho or not, he's a competitor and if other teams are scared off by his behavior and the Angels can land him for only a couple or few million, I'd love it and support such a move (not that it means anything).

Wilson may be crazy, but he has fantastic work ethic. He treats his body as a temple and constantly is working out. There is no off season for him. He holds himself to a high standard and strives to succeed. I wouldn't mind seeing him in the Angels pen.

The guy is coming off a bad year (before the tommy john) so I'd really see how he's holding up after more than 12 innings.

 

If he signed with the A's, I'd hope he'd get bombed just so they'd released him.
