my family likes it, too. it's a good show. i like the captain and his calm demeanor.

I watched a few of the episodes of the first season, but it didn't grab me like Rescue Me or even Third Watch.  I don't think it was that bad, just not enough time to fit it in with Dexter, Breaking Bad, new movies, life, etc.

 

Hopefully your reviews can get me back to catching-up on it, cuz I like to see how life in the Firehouse is portrayed on these shows.

it def started off slow last year, but has gotten a ton better
