The fact that guys like Bucknor, or Angel Hernandez, or Bob Davidson, or head of the umpires union Joe West are still given the responsibility of umpiring at the highest level(and then are potentially getting to umpire playoff games!) is an absolute joke.

 

And I'm not holding by breath waiting for the first attempt by MLB to actually do something about it that's not a half-assed "Well at least we can say we tried!"

Brian Runge was fired earlier this year but it was for failing drug tests.....

This is why i am 100% in favor of computerized umpiring.

Fvck the whole human element of the game, I would rather have the calls be made correct each time.

Earlier in the year Bucknor was umpiring the game against the Angels and the calls were all over the place on both sides.
