Mike Trout is already 120th on the career center fielder war list. In two seasons he has already done more in his career than Marlon Byrd, Matt Kemp, Adam Jones, Austin Jackson, Juan Pierre, Milton Bradley, Chris Young and BJ Upton. Impressive he has passed these players in less than two years.

 

On a side note Kenny Lofton and Carlos Beltran are # 8 and 9 on this list which surprises me. Seeing as how Lofton and Beltran are top ten center fielders in history, should they make the HOF. They have a higher career wars than other HOF players such as Duke Snider, Andre Dawson, Richie Ashburn, Billy Hamilton, Max Carey, Kirby Puckett, Larry Doby Hugh Duffy, Earl Combs, Hack Wilson, and Earl Averill.

 

Lofton only received 3.2 % of the vote. Those of you who reference WAR as to Trout being a great player, should think it is an injustice that Lofton only received 3.2% in the HOF voting.
